Question:
What are the steps to canceling a reservation?
Solution:
In the event you need to cancel your reservation, follow these easy steps:
Locate your reservation confirmation number. If you provided an e-mail address during the reservation process, you received an e-mail with your reservation information as well as your confirmation number.
Go to the home page of the Marriott web site.
Select the link Change/Cancel Reservation. This link is located near the top of the page just after the link for the Site Map.
You will be directed to the page titled "Upcoming Reservations". Navigate to the heading level 3, "Find a Specific Reservation". Use the Down Arrow key to navigate to navigate to the "Confirmation Number" and "Last Name" edit boxes. Navigate to the "Find" button and press the "Enter" key.
You will be directed to a page titled "Reservation Details". Select the “Cancel Entire Reservation” link.
A pop up window will display asking if you are certain you want to cancel this reservation. Press the "Tab" key to move between the "Yes" and "No" buttons. Select the "Yes" button and press the "Enter" key to cancel the reservation.
